About our Preferred Lenders List

While you are welcome to work with any lender of your choice, the lenders listed have:

  • Reviewed and are familiar with the Las Deltas deed restrictions, and have experience working with affordable homeownership programs.
  • Many of these lenders also accept the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Homeownership Program.

Please note that participation may change over time, but this list provides a strong starting point and reflects the support available to help you achieve your homeownership goals.

Home Availability Timeline
  • Eight (8) new homes are currently under development through Restoring Neighborhoods.
  • Construction is anticipated to be completed by late 2026 or early 2027.
  • If you are a returning Las Delta resident, North Richmond resident, or City of Richmond resident, you will receive first priority in the homebuyer process.

In cases where the resale restrictions survive foreclosure or a deed-in-lieu of foreclosure, the appraisal must reflect the impact the restrictions have on value and be supported by comparable sales with similar restrictions. The appraisal report must note the existence of the resale restrictions and comment on any impact the resale restrictions have on the property’s value and marketability.
